Question 1

How do I get access?

Accepted Answer

STR CORTEX is a paid service. Request access and we reply by email to set up your plan and payment. Once payment is confirmed, we email you a one-time link to create your account. Then you connect your PMS, and the first shift runs that night at 3 a.m. your time.

Question 2

Which property management systems work with STR CORTEX?

Accepted Answer

Hospitable and OwnerRez work fully. Guesty and Hostaway sync your listings, bookings and messages. Hostfully works with limits: only Airbnb bookings carry revenue today. Lodgify, Beds24, Smoobu, Tokeet, Uplisting and iGMS cannot be connected yet. Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com come through your PMS, so there is nothing extra to connect.

Question 3

Do I need my own AI key?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for the AI features. You connect a key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter, and that provider bills you for what you use. Without a key, the AI features stay off. Your synced bookings, calendar, statements and the rest of the dashboard still work.

Question 4

Will it change my prices on its own?

Accepted Answer

No. The agents suggest prices and the Revenue Manager writes a pricing report. A price changes only when someone on your team sends it to PriceLabs or applies a plan, and only owners and admins can do that.

Question 5

Does it message my guests?

Accepted Answer

Never on its own. STR CORTEX sends no automatic or scheduled guest messages. You can draft a reply with AI and send it from the inbox where your PMS allows it. On other PMSs you copy the draft into your PMS.

Question 6

Can my property owners log in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invite an owner and they get their own portal with only their houses: the calendar, owner stay requests, bill-backs, and door codes and wifi. Monthly statements are off until you switch them on for that owner. Publishing a statement does not email the owner, so let them know it is ready.

Question 7

Where does the morning brief arrive?

Accepted Answer

In your Slack channel, at 6:00 a.m. your time. Slack is the one channel that sends today. Connect it with a bot token and a channel, and invite the bot to that channel. Without Slack, everything still shows on your dashboard.
